Twelfth youth arrested in connection with the murder of Ian Kirwan

Police have made another arrest following the death of a Worcestershire man.

On Sunday 13 March officers investigating the death of Ian Kirwan in Redditch arrested a further youth on suspicion of murder, bringing the total arrested to 12.

The youth has now been released on bail.

Ian Kirwan died following an incident on Jinnah Road, Redditch on Tuesday 8 March.

Formal identification has now taken place.

A 14-year-old male appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Monday 14 March charged with murder.

Three youths have also been bailed and seven released with no further action in connection with the incident.

Redditch Asda has since reopened and Safer Neighbourhood Officers are maintaining a highly visible presence in the town.
