Vulnerable man abused in Ludlow

Police are appealing for witnesses after a vulnerable man was abused by a group of young people in Ludlow.

Officers say the incident happened between 25 May and 28 May.

The victim who is partially sighted was walking through Lower Galdeford on three occasions when two teenagers jumped out and screamed at him.

PC Steve Mason said: “It is disgraceful that anyone would target vulnerable people in our community and cause them this distress. This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information or witnessed these events.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 101 quoting incident 577s of 28052020 or alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111.
