Hereford residents who were left with nowhere to park have now been included in a six-month parking permit trial.

Some Edgar Street neighbours had no free nearby on-street spaces when Herefordshire Council changed parking rules in December 2018.

But they have now been included in a permit scheme a few streets away on a trial basis.

Lisa Sullivan, who was affected, said: “It was a year since the issue came up and I thought I’d write to the council again.

“They thought about it and have come back with a six month trial. We are really happy with that.”

Eligible residents can now park on Asquith, Attlee, Balfour, Keir Hardie, MacMillan and Rosebury Close, Penhaligon Way and Gladstone Drive.
