Strictly Come Dancing tops 2021 calendars list

Phil and Alison Clarke, owners of Calendar Lady Promotions in Ross-on-Wye have just released their annual update list of the top selling 2021 calendars.

The list included a combination of online sales and sales in high street retail stores across the country.

The biggest independent supplier of promotional calendars in the UK, Calendar Lady Promotions, just happens to be located here in Herefordshire, in Gloucester Road in Ross-on-Wye. In November and December alone the company ships over a million business calendars to customers all over the world.

“Since we started our calendar sales chart over 10 years ago, we’ve seen some very interesting movements taking place.” Said Phil Clarke. “The top selling Cliff Richard calendar rocketed to number 5 last year but has taken a tumble this year down to number 16, although still an extremely popular choice.

“The Strictly Come Dancing calendar has jumped up two places to the number one slot, from absolutely nowhere. The Banksey Street Art calendar takes the number 2 best seller position in the chart and the BBC Radio Four Archers 70th anniversary calendar has jumped straight in at number 8.”

“The calendar chart is a true reflection of society during lockdown, with Strictly being the most popular show on TV and The Archers celebrating 70 years, Tottenham Hotspur up at the top of the football league, Lewis Hamilton’s F1 Champion and the return of Spitting Image to our screens.”

“Despite the fact that we’ve all got calendars and diaries on our phones, tablet, laptops and PCs, printed calendar sales continue to grow.”
