Shrewsbury manager Steve Cotterill is recovering in hospital after spending time in intensive care with coronavirus.
His assistant, Aaron Wilbraham, confirmed Cotterill has been "really poorly" over the past couple of weeks.
The League One club face Southampton in their rearranged FA Cup third round tie tomorrow.
The original fixture was called off due to a Covid outbreak.
