A residential home near Abergavenny is using protective equipment made by Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools.

Penpergwm House Residential Home last week appealed for help in keeping its staff and residents safe during the coronavirus crisis.

The schools have been using their 3D printers to make equipment for hospital staff and health care workers in the region.

Mr Sean McCluskey and Dr Toby Murcott leapt into action on Friday and delivered the face masks to the home on Saturday.

Georgie Llewelyn, General Manager at Penpergwm House, said: "Thank you to Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools for such a hugely thoughtful and supportive community gift.

"It is hugely appreciated by all of us at Penpergwm House Residential Home - a heartfelt thank you from us all."
