Jeremy Tancock has been appointed as the new Senior Group Secretary at the NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual Usk office.

Having worked in the Usk agency for six years Mr Tancock has developed a deep understanding of local farming matters and insurance.

Mr Tancock said: “I was brought up on my family’s beef and sheep farm in West Wales and with my farming background, I chose to specialise in complex commercial insurance. I have worked closely with the retiring agents to ensure continuity in service to customers and I am fully committed to offering support and advice to our members in the area. I thoroughly enjoy meeting farmers and learning about their business needs and the offering of NFU Cymru and NFU Mutual is second to none.

“I am delighted to say that the office is now open again to our customers and my first official day is at Usk Show, which will be a fantastic opportunity to welcome familiar faces and valued customers to the stand at the show.”

John Mercer NFU Cymru Director added: “Jeremy has a wealth of experience and is already highly regarded in the Usk area, therefore we are delighted that there is continuity for our members. We are sincerely grateful to the retiring team of Ian Parry and Andy Hilditch who have served the membership for over 30 years in the Usk agency. We extend our warmest congratulations to Jeremy and know that the first-class service and advice will continue.”
