Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following serious collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Hereford yesterday afternoon.

Police were called shortly after 3.50pm to reports of a collision between a Honda XL 125 motorcyle and a silver Volvo S80 car on the A49, Ross Road.

The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

Road closures were in place whilst emergency services were in attendance.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. If you have any information, please call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident reference 491s of 1 November 2018.
