Police are carrying out enquiries into the death of a woman in Malvern.
Earlier today at 11.55am (Sunday 7 October) police attended an address in Apple Orchard Close in Malvern.
The body of a 46 year old woman was found, her death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A 52 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police are currently in the area to both carry out enquiries into the woman's death and offer reassurance to local residents.
Superintendent Tom Harding said: "We know local residents will be concerned and I would like to reassure them this appears to be an isolated incident and we do not believe there to be any risk to the wider public.
"There will continue to be a police presence in the area over the coming days as officers carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances around the woman's death. Officers are also there to offer reassurance to local residents."
