The Black and White House Museum in Hereford is celebrating 90 years of life as a public museum.

The magnificent half-timbered building proudly stands in High Town.

Built in 1621, the building started life as a butcher's home and finished its commercial life in the hands of Lloyds Bank.

Since 1929, the Black and White House has been a fascinating museum giving an insight into daily life in Jacobean times, furnished in period style.

To celebrate 90 years as a public museum, ignite CiC will deliver a weekend of free crafting inspired by the Black and White House, suitable for children and adults on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July.
