West Mercia Police is continuing to investigate the attempted theft of an ATM on Ledbury Road in Hereford.

Officers were called at around 3.45am on Monday 21 May to reports of three men in balaclavas attempting to cut the machine at the Texaco garage.

They then left the scene. Nothing was stolen.

PC James Moore said: "We are urging anyone in the area who saw the vehicle in the CCTV image, during the early hours of Monday morning, to come forward. The vehicle was thought to be travelling along Ledbury Road or in the surrounding residential estate. It is believed to be a blue Audi S5 which may have substantial front end damage; it is possible that the vehicle registration plates may have been swapped.
