Road closures following serious collision in Forest of Dean

Road closures have been put in place in the Forest of Dean following a serious collision this afternoon.

Police were called to Broom Hill in Huntley shortly before 1.20pm with a report of a two vehicle collision involving a lorry and car.

The occupants of the vehicles are being assessed by paramedics and emergency services remain at the scene.

Road closures have been put into place on Velthouse Lane, the A40 at Huntley and A4136 at Church Lane to allow for vehicles to divert into Longhope.

These are likely remain in place for a number of hours while a collision investigation takes place with motorists asked to please find alternative routes.
