Appeal for witnesses to collision on A417 near Brockworth

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which took place on the A417 near Brockworth this morning.

It was reported that three vehicles had collided on the westbound carriageway at the slip road to Brockworth/junction 11A of the M5 at around 7.30am.

The collision involved three vehicles – a small white van, a blue Ford Fiesta and a small white car. The small white car left the scene before police arrived.

There was substantial damage caused to the van and Fiesta, with the occupants being taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.

It is currently unknown if the white car was damaged and officers are now appealing for the driver to come forward so they can get an account of what happened.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police or has dashcam footage to please get in contact.
