An emergency lane closure will be in place on Newmarket Street from tomorrow.
Welsh Water will be carrying out work to fix a burst water main on the network.
The footpath between Newmarket Street and Tesco will also be closed.
The water company said the repairs will take around a week to complete as they work around the City Walls.
