A 15-year-old Worcester boy was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in court yesterday (Wednesday 7 October) following incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the city.
Jayden Harper, of Drakes Avenue, Worcester was given the two-year CBO at Worcester Magistrates Court which means he is prohibited from the following until 7 October 2028: -
Wearing a face covering pulled up to cover all or part of his face, in any public place; and
Being a pillion passenger on a motorbike or riding a motorbike with a pillion passenger.
The terms of his CBO state if Harper (pictured) does anything he is prohibited from doing by this order or fails to do anything that he is required to do; he could face detention and/or be ordered to pay a fine.
Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Worcester, Dave Wise, said: “Residents repeatedly tell us that motorcycle and e-bike related crime and ASB have a real impact on their quality of life.
“This CBO reflects both the motorcycle-related nature of his behaviour and the seriousness of the incidents.
“The order imposed by the court provides clear restrictions that will help police and partner agencies better protect our communities.”
Anyone who sees Harper breaching his CBO is urged to report it to police via our website or by calling 101.
Alternatively, you don’t want to speak to police, you can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ .
