A black Landrover Freelander that had a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) was seized by Police.
Safer Neighbourhood Team Officers seized the 4x4 from Cleobury Mortimer on Monday.
The owner of the vehicle had informed DVLA that the vehicle was not being used and was not on the road, it had a 'Statutory Off Road Notification' (SORN). This means that the vehicle cannot be parked or left on the road, it should be on a private drive or garage. Officers contacted one of our partner agencies to arrange the recovery of the vehicle.
If the owner wants their vehicle back, they will have to prove that they have insurance, MOT, valid tax for it and have the necessary documentation to prove that they are legal to drive. They will also have to pay at least £150 to the recovery company.
