Shropshire Museums are asking its users to help prevent the spread of the virus and safeguard the health and wellbeing of its volunteers, staff and visitors.
A spokesperson said: "We have considered our response in accordance with the advice and guidance given by Public Health England (PHE) and in line with the wider museums’ sector, as well as Shropshire Council."
"If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (a persistent cough or fever), have been in physical contact with someone has COVID-19 or are self isolating, please do not come to the museum. This will protect other museum visitors who may be vulnerable."
