The annual Wye Raft Race has raised more than £11,000 for St David’s Hospice Care.
Despite low river levels cutting entries, crews still helped generate nearly £14,000 overall.
Hospice bosses say the support is vital, with the charity needing more than £9M a year to fund care.
Organisers say the race shows the power of community fundraising – and the next event is planned for September.
