Worcester Warriors have been suspended from the rugby union Premiership and all other competitions with immediate effect.
The RFU confirmed the owners failed to meet the 5pm deadline to provide evidence of insurance cover, availability of funds to meet the monthly payroll and a credible plan to take the club forward.
Worcester have debts of more than 25 million pounds, including at least 6 million in unpaid tax.
