Worcester man charged with attempted murder

A Worcester man has been charged with attempted murder.

Police have charged 44 year old Philip Mapp with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis in relation to an incident in Blackpole on Wednesday.

Mapp, of Windermere Drive, Warndon, Worcester, will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates this morning (Fri).

The victim has been released from hospital and is recovering at home.
