Pedestrian access has been restored on Broad Street in Worcester.
The lower part of Broad Street had been closed at its junction with Angel Place for emergency work to be carried out to make a building safe.
It was re-opened to the delight of local retailers and shoppers yesterday afternoon.
The City Council has put a children's fun fair ride on the street to entice more shoppers. The Council will subsidise this ride, so that children can enjoy it free of charge.
