Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Hollywood.

The robbery happened at 5.45pm on Wednesday 13 October in Beaudesert Road.

A man was approached by two men who were dressed in dark clothing and had their faces covered. It is then reported that one of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife while the other demanded he hand over his watch. While they demanded other personal items they also punched the victim in the face.

The suspects left with the victim’s Breitling stainless steel battery watch which has a black face and a diver’s extension on the strap. They drove away in a silver Fiat Abarth which had a black bonnet and black roof.

Enquiries into this robbery are ongoing and officers are appealing for any witnesses or information relating to it.

DC David Gardner said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who was around the Beaudesert Road area at the time of the incident to get in contact with us as they may have information that can help with our enquiries. I’d particularly like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle. I’d also urge the public to be aware and to contact us if case someone offers to sell them a watch matching this description.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Garner on 01562 826 116 or report it online via the Tell us About section of the West Mercia Police website quoting incident 456i of 13 October.
