A Herefordshire business has started producing face masks for health workers to use during the coronavirus outbreak.
Hereford based Signs and Labels Ltd have been producing visors which could be used at the county hospital.
Hereford Business Board chairman Frank Myers says he approached the company with the idea.
“Because of my involvement at the hospital I became aware, last weekend, of some of the emerging personal protective equipment needs.
“Through the Marches LEP and the business board, I have got to know Signs and Labels Ltd. They are a little gem of a company.
“I know that S&L have equipment which I have used in the past that could make the face visors which the hospital staff need. I approached them with the idea last Tuesday. They have been brilliant in their response. By Friday we had secured the materials and already there are visors coming off the production line.”
