Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Bridgnorth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Bridgnorth.

A property on Harley Way was broken into some time between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday 25 April.

Items taken include a Lenovo laptop, Samsung Galaxy tablet, two 18 carat gold rings with diamonds and sapphires, passports and a wedding certificate.  The jewellery is of great sentimental value and the owner would value its return.

Detective Constable Greg Smith said: "We are carrying out enquiries into the burglary and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area or who saw anyone acting suspiciously at the time.

We urge anyone with information to get in contact, including anyone who may be offered similar items for sale."

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 458S of 25 April.
