Officers from Hereford's Safer Neighbourhood Team went out into the city centre to engage with shop managers and young people about knife crime as part of Op Sceptre week.
PCSOs Edward Busk and Katie Harvey visited places popular with young people including McDonald's, Burger King, Poundland and Sports Direct to chat with managers about the week of action to help tackle knife crime across the country and locally here in the West Mercia force area.
They also spoke with the public on the streets about ongoing efforts to #stopknifecrime, handing out information leaflets and offering words of advice about the national issue.
Concerns about knife crime can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through Fearless www.fearless.org
