Moreton Show: A showcase of rural life - Saturday 6th September 2025
Moreton Show is a true Agricultural Show celebrating the best of British Farming. Keeping its heritage since it began in 1949 the show still champions British farmers and growers, whilst celebrating the brilliance of the equestrian world, and providing a platform for local communities to come together and celebrate all the best of the British Countryside.
The one-day extravaganza, which is always held on the first Saturday of September is packed with entertaining Arena Attractions, interactive and educational static displays, exciting competitions, free children’s activities, and an array of tradestands selling everything from tasty treats to the latest farm machinery – it truly is a bumper crop of Farming, food and family fun!

What’s on.
Broke FMX become airborne in the Grand Arena with their exhilarating motorcross stunts at 13:10 and 16:35. The Grand Arena will also welcome the return of the ever-popular Livestock Grand Parade, the Hayman-Joyce Pony Club Pairs Relay and much, much more!
By popular request, the Attwell Farm Park feature will also be returning to the Farmtastic Area this year, giving you the opportunity to meet lots of farm animals, including alpacas, chickens, sheep and many more animals. The Oxford Sandy and Black Pig Society will also be back in the Farmtastic Area with their adorable piggies and piglets.
The Cotswold Eco Tubs Horse Area will provide great entertainment with the return of the Arena Eventing Challenge and over thirty different Horse of the Year Show qualifiers and the Farrier competitions where farriers will fire up their forge to compete for the ‘Best Shod Foot ‘crown.
The Hooky Heavy Horses will be in pride of place in the Hooky Horse Area-kindly sponsored by Hook Norton Brewery-when they’re not parading in the Grand Arena.
The Home & Garden Marquee will be a hive of activity with lots of well-supported classes returning like huge homegrown fruits, beautifully arranged flowers, jars of homemade preserves, beautiful moments captured in the photography class and great crafts and bakes made by our younger exhibitors.
The Vintage Tractors will be parading in the Rural Attractions Ring, showcasing how machines have evolved from the early 1900s to the beasts you see in the fields today. The Clumber Spaniels will be showing off their skills in the gundog demonstration and the Terrier Racing will also provide waggingly wonderful entertainment as these fierce little dogs race each other in a high-speed pursuit of a mop head.

2. Entries to register must be strictly through the official Sunshine Radio website.
3. Listeners need to go to sunshineradio.co.uk between Mon 18th August -Sunday 31st August at Midnight and identify who the famous musical sheep are for the chance to win a family pass to go to Moreton Show
4. If there is more than one person with the correct answers, everybody who has the right answers will go into a draw and a random winner will be chosen by random.org
5. Listeners are allowed one entry per household. Multiple entries will be discarded and may result in disqualification as per the Sunshine General Contest Rules which are overarching and binding.
6. Entries are at no charge via the Sunshine Radio website. Entrants may be asked for permission to be contacted about future games and promotions from Sunshine Radio.
7. The judge’s decision is final.
8. Sunshine Radio may withhold the prize is fraudulent activity is discovered.
9. No prize may be substituted or switched unless Sunshine Radio deems it necessary in the event of unavailability.
