Teenagers killed in Tesla taxi crash in Surrey

Two teenagers have died after their taxi crashed into a tree in Surrey.

The incident happened just before 10pm on Saturday in Holland Road, Hurst Green, south of Oxted.

A third male passenger remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The driver, a 30-year-old from Oxted, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.

The white Tesla burst into flames and the victims were dragged out by friends in another cab, a local person told the Daily Mail.

They were reportedly on their way home after a day out in London.

Police said all three passengers were in their late teens and that their families had been informed.
