Four crew members were safely ejected after two navy jets crashed during an air show in Idaho.
Two EA-18G Growler jets crashed two miles from Mountain Home Air Force Base in western Idaho on Sunday, according to a post on X by Airshow News.
Mountain Home said in a social media post that it was locked down following the incident during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show, with emergency crews on the scene.
The air base asked guests already there to "remain in the flightline area" to allow first responders to carry out their work and said it is working on a plan to safely allow everyone to exit the base as soon as possible.

Videos posted online showed four parachutes opening as the aircraft plummeted to the ground near the base around 50 miles (80km) south of Boise.
"Emergency responders are on the scene and investigation is underway and more details will be released as they become available," a Mountain Home spokesperson told Reuters.
The Mountain Home Police Department issued a notice that the air show was cancelled and cautioned not to travel to the area.
The air show's official site lists the E/A-18G Vikings Growler Demo Team as one of the scheduled performers.
