West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after an assault in Leominster High Street on Tuesday, 25 July.
A vulnerable man in his 20's is reported to have been verbally abused and pushed in the chest by an elderly man, who is then thought to have hit the victim with a walking stick.
The incident happened around 10.30am outside an animal welfare charity shop and investigating officers would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
