Police in Monmouthshire are warning shoppers about fake bank notes.
The Royal Bank of Scotland £50 notes are are counterfeit copies of the current £50 note.
Gwent Police says there have been various fake bank notes in circulation across the Monmouthshire area.
They are green with an image of Lord Ilay on one side and Inverness Castle on the other.
