A series of nest boxes are going to be installed around Abergavenny.
The Town Council has been working with Project Nestbox.
Year six pupils at Our Lady and St Michael's Primary School have constructed 32 boxes, with eight already installed in the school grounds.
The project will see the remaining 24 boxes installed by Monmouthshire County Council in Bailey Park, Linda Vista Gardens and Castle Meadows.
