Police in Hereford have issued a warning after reports of young people using a lifebelt as a swing on the River Wye.
Officers say they attended multiple reports of young people jumping and swimming in rivers across the county over the weekend.
In a post on social media, Hereford Rural North SNT said: "We attended reports of such activity at Canary Bridge and found the life ring tied to the bridge being used as a swing. Those life rings are there to save lives if someone is in distress in the river."
"There are groups of children underage drinking and jumping into the river on parts of the River Wye and River Lugg. Please make sure they are aware of the dangers."
