Neighbourhood Policing Teams in Abergavenny and Monmouth have concluded two weeks of drugs raids, resulting in seizures, arrests and the discovery of a cannabis factory.
Operation Breach ran for two weeks, ending on Friday, 7th June 2019, and was aimed at targeting drug supply in the towns, which had been affecting the quality of life of the local community.
In total, eight different premises were searched, with drugs of Class A, B and C seized during the raids, alongside suspected stolen goods and the dismantling of a cannabis factory.
A suspected class A drug dealer was also caught supplying in a local pub, whilst further suspects have been identified and investigations into them are ongoing.
Abergavenny ward manager, Pc Adam Hollings said: "The supply of controlled drugs has a devastating effect on lives and it will not be tolerated in our communities."Officers from the neighbourhood policing team have worked tirelessly gathering intelligence and planning and executing these search warrants.
"We will keep you updated on the investigations into these individuals as they progress."
