A person has died from COVID-19 in Worcestershire.
Matthew Hopkins, Chief Executive of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “We can confirm that, sadly, a patient who had tested positive for COVID-19 has died at one of our hospitals."
“The patient passed away at the Alexandra Hospital."
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time."
