A person has been taken to hospital by air ambulance following a serious crash on a major road in Monmouthshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a serious road traffic collision which occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the A40, adjacent to the services at Raglan at approximately 10:50am Sunday 14th May 2017.
Officers and colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended the collision which involved one vehicle, a blue Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
