Three families had a special start to 2025 as they celebrated the safe arrival of their very special babies born at Hereford County Hospital on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025.
The first, a baby boy weighing 6lb 10oz, named Blake, was born at Hereford County Hospital at 1.38am, and the last a baby girl named Clemmie, born at 9.46pm and weighing 6lb 8oz. An extra special day for baby Clemmie’s family as they welcomed their first child on January 1, 2023.
The team of hospital midwives and new parents welcomed the new arrivals on this special day and each baby received a festive bauble and a hat from the maternity team, to celebrate their arrival.
Amie Symes, Associate Director of Midwifery at WVT, said: “We’re are delighted to celebrate with the families the arrival of their new babies born on this special New Year’s Day.
“Every baby is a blessing and babies born at this time of the year have very special birthdays. It was lovely to present the family with the bauble and hat for their baby.
“Our maternity team wish the families of all babies born both on 1 January and throughout the year, a very Happy New Year.”
