A mountain biker was left seriously injured after a nasty fall in Monmouthshire.
Emergency Services including Longtown Mountain Rescue were called out on Saturday afternoon near Llanvihangel Crucorney.
Gwent Police asked for mountain rescue help with the biker suffering a "seriously injured leg".
He was taken to hospital by the Welsh Air Ambulance.
A spokesperson said: "The gentleman had taken a nasty fall and required medical aid on a seriously injured leg. We arrived to find two Longtown Team colleagues on scene with the air ambulance crew who’d provided medical treatment, we then carried the gentleman onto the aircraft."
