Organisers say this Sunday’s Monmouth Raft Race will go ahead after recent rain raised River Wye levels.
The 6.5-mile charity event, run by Monmouth Rotary, had faced fears of cancellation due to low water, as happened in 2022.
Rafters set off from Monmouth Rowing Club at noon, finishing in Whitebrook where a family festival with food and live entertainment will be held.
