Police are appealing for information after a robbery that took place in Abergavenny.
A lady had her handbag stolen at around 4:10pm on Monday on Park Avenue.
A 24-year-old man from Abergavenny has been arrested and charged with the robbery.
Officers are appealing to the community to help locate the stolen handbag. It is red UPVC with a red over the shoulder strap. Inside was a pink coin purse and a black Samsung mobile phone with a violet coloured leather cover. The cover has a wallet in it which folds over the front of the phone and is secured with a magnetic clasp.
The bag may have been discarded in a bin or hedgerow.
