A Leominster woman has been jailed for 16 weeks after she punched and bit a member of staff.
Police were called to Aldi in Dishley Street last Thursday morning following reports of an assault.
25-year-old Kimberley Broadbent was arrested by officers after she refused to queue and assaulted a supermarket worker.
The court heard how Broadbent was trying to enter the store ahead of the queuing shoppers when she was challenged by a member of staff.
Broadbent became violent and began spitting at the woman before being restrained by the victim and another member of the public. The defendant punched and bit the victim leaving her with an injury to her leg.
She was jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to pay £244 in court payments.
