A hotel in Hereford will begin housing asylum seekers from today.
The Three Counties Hotel on Belmont Road have signed a 12-month contract with the Home Office.
There will be 24-hour security and the people living there will have access to local healthcare and any children can attend school.
Herefordshire MPs Jesse Norman and Bill Wiggin have expressed their opposition over the use of the hotel.
North Herefordshire MP Bill Wiggin says the council not have a council robust enough to support these extra people with their wide variety of needs.
