A man has been jailed for exposing himself on a beach in Wales.
67-year-old Geoffrey Chambers from Cwmbran was spotted stroking himself near a group of teenagers on Barry Island in June this year.
Mr Chambers had just been released from prison for another offence after shoving a courgette down the front of his leggings and simulating a sex act in front of shoppers in Hereford City Centre.
Newport Crown Court heard the offence took place on Sunday 13th June at around 2:20pm.
The defendant was wearing loose fitting shorts and was exposing his testicles and purposely stroking himself near a group of teenage girls.
Chambers, who is originally from Leominster, Herefordshire, tried to get away from the police but was arrested at the beach.
He pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and being in breach of a sexual harm prevention order which banned him from wearing shorts in public.
The judge jailed him for 22 months.
