A popular shopping street in Hereford will be shut for seven days while emergency works are carried out.
An emergency closure was put in place on Commerical Street following a power supply issues on Thursday morning.
A number of businesses and properties were left without power following a fault.
National Grid said repairs to a link box will take several days but most properties have since had power restored.
Herefordshire Council said there will be no vehicular access, diversion will be locally signposted, pedestrian access is being maintained.
