Police appealing for information after receiving a report of an attempted theft at a supermarket in Chepstow last month.
Three men entered the Tesco store at around 6.10pm on Thursday 2 September and were seen to place several high-value items, including ink cartridges and razor blades, into baskets and trolleys.
The men were reportedly followed by security and staff members and left the store after abandoning the baskets and trolleys.
No items were reportedly taken, but the total of the items in the baskets and trolleys was around £1,300.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers would like to speak to these men who were in the store at the time and may be able to assist their investigation.
