Residents in Bucknell near Leintwardine have been left without water, facing low pressure and discoloured supplies after a pipe burst early on Monday.
Severn Trent says engineers are working to fix the problem but repairs are taking longer than expected.
The company has apologised for the disruption and says it will issue further updates as work continues.
