Body found in search for missing Leominster woman

Officers searching for missing 81-year-old Eileen Williams from Leominster have this afternoon discovered a woman's body near Stoke Prior.

Mrs Williams went missing from her home yesterday morning.

The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and Mrs Williams' family has been informed.

Inspector Darren Godsall said: "We're sad to report we have discovered a woman's body. We are in regular contact with Mrs Williams' family and ensuring they continue to receive support. I'd like to ask for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time."
