Police are appealing for information to locate Jordan Gingell, aged 22 and Kieran Wheeler, aged 21, who absconded from Prescoed Prison, Usk on Saturday 7th July.
Jordan and Kieran were both previously convicted of robbery.
Neither Jordan or Kieran are registered sex offenders.
It is believed there may be a potential risk due to the fact that the individuals are no longer in the custody of the prison service
Jordan and Kieran have links to Brynmawr and Swindon, and police believe they may be together.
Gwent Police has activated its operational plan with the aim of locating them, and the prison is co-operating fully with us.
If anyone has seen either Jordan or Kieran or has any information about their whereabouts, they are asked to ring 101 quoting Log 62 08/07/18.
