Police are appealing for witnesses after a police car was involved in collision with another vehicle.
It happened at around 9:30am on the A438 at the turning for the Wyevale Garden Centre.
The officer, who was responding to an emergency call had both blue lights and sirens on. The road was closed for several hours for both investigation and repair.
