Police in Hereford are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault outside The Kerry Public House on Commercial Street.
The incident was reported to police at around 1:30am on Sunday 12 August.
A man in his thirties was left with a significant eye injury, and was taken to hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact West Mercia Police by calling 101 and ask to speak to PC Daffern quoting incident number 59 of 12 August.
