An elderly woman has died in a house fire in Monmouthshire.
Gwent Police were called to a house in Abergavenny on Tuesday following reports of the fire.
They attended the address at Laburnum Walk at 8:30am but the woman had already died.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
